From the pine forests of Julian to the dusty canyons of Jacumba, Supervisor Jacob's district is more than 2,000 square miles of diverse terrain. This vast territory makes Adam Wilson, the supervisor's land use aide, a busy guy. Adam advises the supervisor on development and conservation projects and helps constituents navigate the County's building process. Adam earned his stripes as an intern in Supervisor Jacob's office and officially joined Team Jacob as a field representative in December 2003. He is a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a degree in political science and played baseball for the U.C. Davis Aggies. After graduation, Adam spent a year in Germany playing professional baseball. A native of San Diego, Adam was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 1996 amateur draft. Baseball, golf and traveling top Adam's extra curricular activities, but his passion is public service.
