Tale hails from a small town in Norway located above the Arctic Circle. Her adventurous lifestyle landed her here in sunny San Diego, which she now considers her home away from home. Tale helps Supervisor Jacob build and improve the many parks and libraries throughout the Second District and handles community projects requests. In addition, Tale is Supervisor Jacob’s advisor for health and human services, an area that represents the largest percentage of the County’s operating budget. Tale’s other policy areas include the Assessor’s office, San Dieguito Joint Powers Authority, San Diego River Conservancy, Goodan Ranch Policy Board, Sports Advisory and Trails Committee, water issues, and the Upper San Diego River Improvement Project. Tale has a master’s degree in political science from Long Beach State University. She is currently addicted to playing golf.
